A mix of funny but real world writing in a situation that can be related to easily. The characters are easy-going and fun to imagine even in a difficult situation. The plot was gripping enough but didn't take itself too seriously making it a real page turner.

The main character Paige is witty but intelligent enough to keep the story rolling without any frustration. I love the way she interacts with her friends in the book shop, including the flashbacks to when they met to understand the characters. It's obvious that she's had a hard start with a bad parent divorce but light enough about it so that she's not too depressing.

The real life situation is easy to relate to and makes you think about how we shop in the high street and who works there on a daily basis. I really enjoyed what I've read so far.
