The premise of the novel was interesting and intrigued me. The bright cover also sparked my notice. However the main character really begun to annoy me as she kind of contradicted herself a lot. She would talk about how nasty it was to objectify women but when she finds a boy attractive she practically drools on him. I did enjoy reading about the best friend- Holly- and her relations with Jamie. Holly was much more tolerable and realistic. A lot of people said this would be good for 16 teen year olds, and thats what I am, however I think this would better suit 12-14 year old girls, it’s definitely not for boys due to the nature of a large part of the novel. In conclusion I have read worse but I have certainly read better.
