Such a funny and brilliant read. As it is such a short book, I read it in one go. The main character, Paige, was so loveable. I just wish I could work in a bookshop and be more like Paige. This book will really speak to book lovers. Anyone who has had their local library or bookshop closed can relate to this book. Although the book may be a little unbelievable the characters are well developed. I’m not sure I agree with using an a-typical ‘badboy’ character but it did help clarify the relationship between Paige and Holly. Their unique outlook on life made me laugh out loud. Despite its little flaws this book is most enjoyable. People will love the characters. They will want to stand up and fight for their own book stalls, but most of all they will want to own or run their own bookshop.
