This is a good adventure, story involving a princess that is heroic. It is great that the author has flipped the fairy tale norm by having the princesses role as the one that is saving the knights. I did like reading about the character Brontë Tempestra, who is the princess of the Storm Kingdom and how she was taking charge of her own destiny. It was good that she had ambitions to be the first ever princess to become a knight and why not?! I think the book is well suited to the junior age group so 8 years to 11 years would enjoy this and I think it would particularly appeal to girls in that age range because of the strong female character. The simple illustrations were appropriate and added to the story and the appeal that it would have with this age group.
So, if you like a fantasy read that involves magic and brave characters this is a book for you.
