Granted I'm not really the intended audience for this book, being a 44 year old. However, I really enjoyed getting a first read of this book and will quite happily pass it on to my daughter to read next.

Bronte Tempestra is a princess who longs to be a knight. Eager to swap a tiara for sword. This is quite the girl power tale, as Bronte becomes the first girl to enter Sir Sebastian's School for Squires, meeting a few challenges along the way.

As part of a new series, this book will appeal to young girls (and hopefully young boys too), who are looking for a fun, quirky, adventure story. It was a quick, engaging read that kept me entertained throughout. I'd be more than happy to return back to Sir Sebastian's School for Squires!

With shades of other well known school based books; Harry Potter, The Worst Witch etc. - this feels aimed at a slightly younger audience who I'm sure will lap it up.
