A fantastic book for young readers - my daughters would have loved this when they were young. A good size - not too outfacing, a map at the beginning (was always a winner for me as a child) and a series of diary excerpts too - these are all plus points. The cover is bright and attractive showing some of the characters within. It seems I'm not the only one though that misread the title as the Lightning Seeds though (must be an age thing!)
The book is easy to read, flows well and the pictures along the way are a welcome extra.
Starring a brave, adventurous heroine who bucks the trend as a princess who rescues the knights (a refreshing change), there's a host of fun characters with names that spark the imagination.
