When I started reading the book, I thought I'd get bored with so much description, but as I read through the pages the stories I was being told involved me in a way that I really felt I was in a vet practice in the 1970's in London.
I don't like the book cover much, but it looks like something from the 70's and maybe that was the idea.
I'd love to read more of this book because I love animals stories written by those who love them too.
