Very enjoyable 'first look'. Reading about people's lives is always fascinating and Bruce Fogle has certainly led an incredibly interesting life. Coming from Canada to London in the 1970s as a newly trained vet he secures a two year contract with a prestigious veterinary practice in a very upmarket area. Call the Vet charts his progress during this time with his fascinating recollections. Bruce Fogle is known to most people as Julia Foster's husband and the father of Ben as well as a vet and author. Call the Vet is going to appeal to all those readers who enjoy non-fiction and to all lovers of animals of every generation. Really looking forward to reading the rest of this charming book.
