I loved it, a mixture of dogs which I love and 1970s nostalgia. I only hope there aren't too many sad stories in the rest of the book. I also liked the author's thoughts on the difference between old fashioned British and modern Canadians. I was hoping it would be a bit funnier but it may improve.
