Interesting, insightful and some light hearted humour

These first chapters were very interesting. It gives us an insight into the life of a newly qualified vet in London back in the 70's. I liked the authors easy going writing style and he was very descriptive. I particularly like the footnotes expanding on terminology that the reader may not understand. The cover is adorable and very appropriate. It's an eye catching cover and will instantly catch the eye of an animal lover or someone interested in the profession.
