Part memoir part veterinary stories of a young Bruce in his first post as an assistant vet in the posh part of London as a Canadian in the decade that had no taste - flare suits and sandals at work made me smile. His snobbish view of 'fiddler on the roof' nouveau money types made me laugh. An interesting story of how he slowly 'accepted' our ways and decided to become native. Very well told
