Really excited by this one from the initial extract. I wanted to be a vet when I grew up as I loved my animals and although I did not become one, we have quite a decent sized zoo at home. This book sounds like a fun insight into what 1970s vet practices were like and how the society was back then. Also interesting to read the perspective of a Canadian in Britain at that time as that is something I can relate to. Would love to read more.
