Loving the 1970s London backdrop and spirited writing. Promising.

I’d normally discount a memoir of a vet’s life but the vibrant 1970s London backdrop really appealed as a native Londoner and fan of novels that depict the city. Even more excitingly I am always keen to hear a the view of a non-native on the British culture. Despite liking animals this would not be a book I would normally pick up but the spirited writing but a real sense of humour pulled me in and now I am keen to read!
