I am sure that this will find a large audience due to the subject matter. But it’s not quite for me. The writing lacks flair and is quite didactic. I will remember hooting with laughter over the James Herriot stories and perhaps this is what I expected. However the first chapter lacks humour and the author is not that great at telling an anecdote without adding in too much information . Even Cindy’s chest fell flat (as it were) I’ll give it a miss
