A nice long taster for this first impression, 41 pages of which 35+ are the actual 'story' as it were.
I must admit to having to google Bruce Fogle to work out who this was a memoir for, the name sounded familiar but I couldn't place him, turned out I was mixing him up with Ben Fogle the TV presenter! ( I can't be the only one? )
I actual found myself quite drawn into this book, sure I probably wouldn't pick it up and read it, but it is very well written, with bits of humour and detail that really enables you to picture him as a young vey just starting out on his career.
Whilst I personally probably wouldn't read it, I can see it being a good gift if you are interested in animals,pets and/or vets
