A warm and evocative tale, as the author recounts his vet work in 1970s London. Although it did take me a few pages before I realised that it wasn't Ben Fogle I was reading about, I was thinking, 'hang on, how old is he?'!!! The first impression is filled with interesting characters and funny stories and I particularly like the way the book is set in the 70s as I absolutely love hearing about that decade.
