This isn't the type of book I would normal read, however being a fan of Ben Fogle I thought I would try it.
This is a great story of 1970's London when you could buy a Puma from Harrods and most treatments for pets hadn't been invented.
Bruce was working in a very fashionable Vet's and was in charge of looking after the animals at Harrods. The stories you can not image them happening now.
This book is also fun, charming, quirky as it seems so is Bruce. It follows him moving to London to be a Vet after qualifying and also trying to fit in with all the trendy people and find himself a girl/wife.
The stories about how they found new treatments and ways of treating animals fascinated me aswell as some I found shocking, but it was different times and they were always done with love it's just the research hadn't been done then.
