The name of this book caught my attention as I quite like books about animals. Once I saw it was a memoir I was a bit put off as I don’t usually read memoirs however once reading the blurb I decided to give it a go. Bruce is a vet who has moved from Canada to the UK, London. It is weird seeing how the British are portrayed.
As the book continues we see the veterinary world. It is amazing to read about someone else’s world and how they are making an impact on the world. It is clear to see the passion this author has for his job through the stories and how he deals with the animals. It is nice to read about animals and seeing how Vets help to save them, especially as an animal person. This book is overall a good read and I think it is suitable for most people who are looking for a quick read however it can get boring in some places and I had to put it down but once I got back into it it was good.
