Bruce is a likeable chap whom obviously has many talents among them putting pen to paper. This a great entertaining mix of stories about the pets he meets and also the owners. From ladies of the night to celebrities, from kittens to monkies there is lots of interest. It is helped on with his love interests and his awkwardness with them adding more humour. The other interest is of course the job as to which the book is based around and early days in a veto art career. Often Bruce highlights the differences between then and now, of which there are many. The biography is from a relatively short period of his life in the early 70s and I was left amazed at both the amount he remembered and the detail in the stories.It does however have a natural beginning, middle and end. Which eases readers such as myself, whom read biographies on rare occasions, feel more at home. Overall an entertaining informative read with a great slice of the 70s.
