It was fun and easy to read but it is not my type of book. After reading it I gave it to my cousin who loved it. She especially loved Bruce who was relatable and funny. I would definitely recommend to give it a read if you love animals and history especially the 70s as that’s when it is set. It also includes Paul McCartney and Elizabeth Taylor which is good if you like them. The animals he treats are all kinds which shows you and tells you that vets don’t just treat dogs and cats. Exotic and non pet animals such as monkeys and alligators. It is extremely easy to read. It is more of an autobiography than a normal fictional book. It is different from the other autobiographies which are normally about singers, actors so it gives another view of an autobiography which is a good. But I personally prefer fictional books and not autobiographies.
