This book was an interesting read however it didn’t keep my attention for long and I did struggle to keep picking it up. It had lots of interesting small stories and anecdotes within. Its not my normal sort of book and I wanted to read this one purely because I am a big fan of his son, Ben.
As autobiographies go its ok, but lacks some depth. I don’t think I would pick it up again but if you are interested in veterinary books then do give it a read, there are some amusing tales in there! I have passed it on to others so I think would enjoy it but for me it just felt it was missing something and if i’m honest I struggle to remember most of what happened in the book which for me is always a bad sign. If i enjoy a book I can recount most of the story or narrative back and is usually a sign it has gone down very well! As always on to the next book and the next author………..
