It was a real eye opener seeing how a young Bruce Fogle found his was in the veterinarian profession in an unfamiliar country in the 1970’s. A true sign of the times is reflected in him receiving a complaint for wearing sandals - the mind boggles!
The book is very well written, grasps your attention right from the very beginning and you find yourself so invested in the young veterinarian’s career and life.
I would definitely recommend this book particularly if you are interested in animals, veterinary practice and non fiction books. I have since bought a copy of this book for a friends Christmas present as I regarded it so highly. Good read.
