This book caught my attention due to the cover and obviously the name. I often read things like this so I had hope that it would be a great read and that I would enjoy it, it just so happens I did. Although it wasn’t one of my favourite books ever I’m still glad I read it and would definitely recommend. This book was slightly different to the others I had read since this was in an older time zone which intrigued me because it made me want to know what it was like to be a vet or working in healthcare 50 years ago. I read this book a bit slower than usual since it didn’t call out to me as much as other book I read have but I didn’t regret reading it. Some parts definitely surprised me which definitely motivated me to carry on reading to see more of the surprises and good morals along the way. I recommend to people who are interested in vets but overall didn’t LOVE this book.
