I am a big lover of animals and I did enjoy the book. I've spent time a lot of time sitting at the vets and this book was super fun. I like that we get to experience the vets in the seventies. Central London has some interesting pets and owners which made me laugh. Vet definitely see a lot of different people and have lots of different experiences.
The bond between pet and owner is so special and this honours that bond as well as providing lots of different laughs.
I've never been a fan of memoirs until recently but I am actually really enjoying them at the moment and this one was really good. It is very easy to read and well written.
It's also interesting to see how the animal care and vet industry has changed in the last thirty years. I would recommend reading this book its is both fun and very informative. The best thing is that it's all just adorable.
