After just a few passages of the book I was immediately transported back to the characters I have loved from Pride and Prejudice.
The book is written in beautiful prose moving me to tears before I'd even finished the third chapter.
Charlotte and the much ridiculed Mr.Collins suffer the death of a much loved and adored son. Through their grief they are bought much closer together, theirs is surprisingly a marriage of love, effect iron and understanding of each other's needs. In contrast Mr. Darcy and Lizzie have found that they are unable to voice their grief after miscarriages and can not give each other comfort.
I really enjoyed this book and can not wait to read more.
