I very much enjoyed what I have read so far in this first impression.
The writing is very much in the style of the classics, which I very much enjoy, and as a reader I felt as though I was already plunged into the heart of the story.
With the reflections on grief and the loss of a child being important enough on their own, the additional element of a woman's grief, and the classist and sexist issues she faces, really made this interesting for me.
I would love to read more of this book.
