Ok, I maybe the only one in the world who hasn’t read Pride and Prejudice, or seen any films based on the book.
I am sorry (genuinely sorry) to say that the works of Jane Austen do absolutely nothing for me.
Yet, I read the blurb about Charlotte and it gripped me. I must admit. What did she do next?
Did she carve an amazing life for herself with her husband behind her all the way, or did she absolutely rewrite history regarding women’s rights?
Did she become a groundbreaking medical woman, or simply stay at home all day embroidering meaningless samplers that every stitch she made, made her want to scream from the rooftops!
I actually feel like I need to know, and who knows! Maybe after reading this I will buy a copy of pride and prejudice and actually sit down and read it.
