The writing was lovely, but this is not my thing at all. I'm THAT person who didn't like Pride and Prejudice so this one was never going to be a good fit for me. I did try to go in open minded but that didn't change it.
I don't doubt that people who enjoy this genre will love it though - and as I said, it's clearly well written.
So probably a good book but not my cup of tea.
