I'm sure that this is a well-written story which will appeal to lots of readers but I'm a purist when it comes to the classics and never feel attracted by stories which are based on someone elses's characters. It's not that, as I reach the end of a story I don't find myself thinking about the characters and wondering what they did next, but I prefer to use my own imagination!
