Based on first impressions, this sounds like a classic period drama. And let's face it, who doesn't love one of those?! Having a PhD in history, I love anything with a historical setting so straight away it's a tick from me! But I also love the twists and turns of love, and a strong female character at the centre of the plot. A real hark to Jane Austen, although I kinda get a Jane Eyre vibe off it too myself. Seems like a beautifully written,engahing piece that will suck you away from reality and keep you hooked till the end
