Now onto the writing because a well-written book of words that fit with the time of the story is always brilliant and adds that extra bit of charm. The details and description put into this book are lovely and easy to picture, making it quite an easy read which is often rare in historical fiction - at least, I find it is. The way sentences were put together made it effortless to fall in love with the settings the author created and the characters too. It is safe to say I love this book a lot.
