Ok, I have to start by admitting that I have never read Pride and prejudice! But that really did not stop me from thoroughly enjoying Charlotte.
The writing style is excellent and really keeps you engaged, once I started I did not want to put it down. The author has a way of pulling you into another world, you feel part of the story, like you really know the characters. I found that despite not knowing who any of the characters were already I was still able to picture them and understand them easily.
So now that I have read all about what happened next, I guess I had better go back and find out what happened first! I will also be seeking out more from Helen Moffett as I enjoyed her writing style.
