I love historical fiction, though I rarely find the time to read such books. I remember reading pride and prejudice as a child and again as an adult, and I loved it all. I loved how Austen takes the feminist view and puts that clear in her writing, in her characters. And I always did wonder what happened to mr Collins and Charlotte.
So finding this book was such a great experience for me. I loved it all. The spin and starting back from where the other book left was such a good concept. I couldn't put the book down. It was just so captivating. And interesting.
The characters were what I expected and I loved how the feminism aspect continued throughout. I loved how it was about a woman, and her journey in life. About how she, someone who wasn t in the best position in life, married and found her life, her wants, love and friendship and even more. It was just beyond words.
