I am a huge Austen fan and really loved this.
It was so great hearing a kind of back story to Charlotte Lucas.
When Charlotte marries Mr. Collins in some small measure she is taking control of her life as she bow has a husband, marital home and a position in society.
But when her son Tom does Charlotte is struggling with her profound grief.
But will her depressed mental state lead her to make a big mistake than can have catastrophic effects on her life forever.
I really liked the way Charlotte was portrayed and I think the author did a great job of trying to visualise and continue the story where Austen left off.
This is a must read for any Austen fan in my opinion or just for historical novel lovers.
