Charlotte - First Look Review
Although beginning with a sad event, it was good to read more about Lizzy Bennett's good friend. I was happy to read that the Darcys and the rest of Lizzy's family are also included in this story. It was encouraging to read that Charlotte had grown to love Mr Collins, who incidentally does not appear to be as much of a loser as he was shown to be in Pride and Predjudice. The author has worked well in Austen's style and I can't wait to read the full story. The accounts of Lady Catherine in this short excerpt, reveal a woman who has mellowed from the formidable character that was presented in Pride and Predjudice. The author has made good work of a difficult task in continuing such a well loved story.
