Reading "Charlotte" after knowing and loving "Pride and Preudice" was like returning to your childhood home after many years away and finding your favorite things waiting for you. The complex characters was written so beautifully and each one was very well thought through and you can see the time and care that went into each page. The pace was a little slow at time and it was a tad difficult for me to fully get into this book but once I did I loved it very much. I haven't found another retelling or spin off of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice as good as "Charlotte." Seeing beloved characters return adding to the amazing story was just so pleasurable and lovely. This is a must read if you love Austen's novel!
