This book is like a familiar comforting blanket. It wrapped itself around me, transporting me back to old friends and places that I imagine are continuing in a parallel time.
The Easter Eggs as the author refers to them, pop up like small fireworks... and set off thoughtful meanderings.

The research is solid and the artistic license used in just the correct amount. Not too much so as to annoy an avid Austin fan but enough to weave a continuing tale whilst remaining true to the original portraits.
I would recommend this book to any Pride and Predudice officianardo, and also to someone new to the genre, as I found it a wonderful read. A fantastic few hours of escapism in our mad world
