I loved this book! It was so great to jump back into the lives of such beloved characters, especially getting more insight into Charlottes life. So glad to have Lizzie included so much and see their friendship strengthen as the years go by. It felt slightly intrusive to see the intimate side of the Collins, and I struggled to believe some of those aspects of Charlotte. However they were very well written, delicately and respectfully described and remaining within the theme of Jane Austen's own writing.
I loved seeing the family man side to Mr Collins, a very different image from the man we remember at the Netherfield ball all those years ago. A definite impression left by his dear Charlotte!
I really enjoyed the imperfections of life for both Lizzie and Charlotte, some realism within the 'fairytale'
