Not that great
Pride and prejudice was one of my favourites growing up and knowing that this book was a spin off of it I had to check it out. The author did capture the time period well but not well enough in my perspective, there was soo much description and it dragged a bit- I just wished the author would make the story straight to the point as I was bored for a bit when it did go onto too much detail. I struggled getting into this story and didn’t connect with the characters as much as I thought I would. As in pride and prejudice it was instant. The authors writing style did drag and I at some parts of the story was lost and I did struggle to read it.
However I did enjoy how the author at the end takes us beyond the end of pride and prejudice which was a perspective to read. Also it shows more on the secondary characters of both mr Collins and Charlotte and what happened to them
