I was really looking forward to reading this after i had won a copy, but once i received it and started to read it, i really really struggled getting into the story. The plot was a bit lost on me and i was getting confused, i didn't really connect with the characters so i wasn't invested in what was happening and i think that put an extra struggle to try to get through the book.
I didn't really like the author's writing style and found it a chore to try and get through, it felt really slow through most of it and the story didn't flow so just felt like a challenge. I did manage to read it all, but it did take me longer since i wasn't enjoying it.
The cover is beautiful and stands out and i think that's what must of drew me in when i first saw this book. It might appeal to others but it definitely wasn't for me which was disappointing as i really wanted to love this one.
