This is a fast-paced action-packed fantasy novel.
Great continuing of the series. Captivating story with lots of twists and turns, which keeps you entertained for quite a while. Author descriptions of the action scenes are very good. It brings this sort of wild west fell into the magick duels which is really good. The book is also filled with occasional jokes which makes one laugh.
Overall very good continuing of the story which introduces a whole new part of the world of Spellslinger series.
The story picks up where it left at the end of the previous book. The author sticks to its writing style and follows the main character(s), while at the same time introduces a whole new kingdom which gives away more of a clockpunk feel which is a great addition to the world of Spellslinger. As expected this new territory is filled with intrigues and danger awaits the main character as is expected from this series.
I can only recommend this book to anyone who loved the previous two.
