I'm loving this series and can't wait for the next! There's a lot of things that happen in this one as Kellen, Ferius and Reichis journey to Gitabria this time. There's more discordances, new faces as well as old ones too, more humour, rage at certain characters, etc. Nothing fails to grab me and I'm looking forward for the next one.
Here come the spoilers:
So we see Nephenia again, very different from the mouse like girl in the first book and more appealing as a love interest for Kellen. She's sharper, more confident, and simply badass. Plus she has a familiar -Ishak- who is a hyena and paired with Reichis that just makes things even more hilarious. Reichis is back with his threats and thieving ways too which I just love.
A point: It was very obvious to me who the red mage was from the start. I like being right though haha.
And with that ending..of course I'm sure we'll encounter characters left behind again in the next book.
