First let me start by saying, I love the cover of this book. I know you aren't meant to judge a book by it's cover and all that, but let's be honest we all do! And this one definitely inspired me to want to pick this book up.
I read it last Christmas, after scouring around for something that might be 'season appropriate'. It isn't my usual style, but for me it was the perfect sweet little read for that time of year and I ended up rather enjoying it.
The story follows Penny, who is recovering from a heartbreak in her beautiful little cottage, which overlooks a cute seaside town called White Cliff Bay. She loves her home, but begins to feel increasingly lonely and cut off. That is until the mysterious Henry arrives with his sweet daughter Daisy, and suddenly Penny starts to dream of having a 'perfect Christmas' once more.
