I will be honest and say that I was not immediately captivated. Penny reminded me of myself in some ways, in keeping my self a little away from the busyness of every day life following past hurts/experiences, I not a socialist really.

Henry turns up late, as House is so far off beaten track. He is a handsome tall man. There is lots of confusion when Daisy turns up, she is thinking its Henry’s wife but is actually his teenage daughter bringing her up as a single parent. Henry is starting a new job after Christmas and is perfect area with his sister and family just down the road. Henry is a ladies man, but in the past has conducted his relationships outside of the home, he is totally devoted to his daughter and has a tendency to stifle her.

Penny has a career working at home as a ice carver making magnificent sculptures. From the moment she meets Henry, he comes across as very grumpy and is looking to keep his personal life to himself and certainly not looking for love as Penny, they both have a lot of baggage not really wanting to unpack.

From the moment they meet, they are both surprised by the instant attraction they feel for one another and at same time fighting against their true feelings this is way the story begins and I’m glad are stayed with it as is a heart touching story and will stay with me for a long time to come. Included are few lessons in love and life and both are on the road to learn at self improvement from each other without realisation.
