The front cover of this book is gorgeous, it makes you think of winter days, snuggling up with a hot drink and a blanket and getting stuck in to a good book. It's very similar to a Jenny Colgan, a name we all know in these kind of reads! There is something really special about a snowy Christmassy winter read that makes you feel cosy and ready for the season. Christmas At Lilac Cottage doesn't let you down, a comfy warming novel with just the right amount of intrigue. The author, Holly Martin, has done a great job with this book. I can't wait to read right to the end and find out how it finishes. This would be a great novel to gift the reader in your life to enjoy over the Christmas holidays.
