I’m fast becoming a huge fan of Holly Martin books, my particular favourites are her Christmas books like this one as they seem to have that extra magical sparkle alongside a great storyline.
The author always manages to create relatable, realistic characters that you can’t help but like and because of this you become totally invested in the outcome of the story and the adventures they go on.
Penny is the main character of this book and I really liked her, she’s strong and wonderfully relatable.
The book is very well written and has a great story line which unfolds very well alongside a huge dollop of romance and festivities, all the characteristics you come to expect from a Holly Martin book. I understand that this is the first book in a series so I will definitely be grabbing and reading more. I really enjoyed this one and would recommend
