It's really great to be given such a long first impression of a novel, even after the standard info pages at the beginning there was still around 30pages of the story.
From the off I can tell this book is right up my alley, as a fan of the HendersonBoys and Tamar series that are all set in WW2 and based on the actions of the spies and soldiers of the resistance from the opening pages of this story it seems like City of Spies will hopefully be another great and thrilling historical read.
I sped through this first impression and it's already full of action and detail and left me wanting more
