The Book seems intriguing and suspenseful from the very first chapter. Usually, it takes around a couple of chapters to set the environment and introduce the characters to the readers. But, City of Spies introduces spot-on action from the very first line, which I totally loved.
I adore the writing style of Mara Timon, which is smooth and easy flowing.
The storyline seems promising as well. I am a huge fan of historic fiction especially that are women-led, and to mix it up with action, is like a cherry-on-the-top. The inclusion of resistance and Nazis is something I look forward to reading.
