The opening chapters of this book are pleasantly atmospheric. Timon has perfectly captured the angst and fear of Nazi occupied France without loosing the charm of our heroine. I thoroughly enjoyed reading from Elisabeth’s perspective, her quick thinking and dry humor really appealed to me.
