This is a very generous 'First Impression' - 47 pages.
I am always a bit put off when the author has thought it necessary to provide a Character List. Are they just being pretentious and comparing their novel to a play by Shakespeare or am I going to be totally confused by the number of different characters. Probably the latter in this case as the main character seems to have at least 4 different names. The blurb suggests that the main character's names are Elisabeth then Solange but in the First Impression she is called Cecile and then Nathalie. Whatever. She is a feisty and amusing secret agent, there is plenty of action and the narrative is well written.
I spotted one typo ( I'd being shot twice - on page 8) This always makes me wary of reading a book as I try to spot further errors instead of concentrating on the story.
